Pastry Chef Job Duties:

Collaborate with the head chef to produce authentic Middle eastern, North African, and Arabian desserts that complement our menu • Direct the creation and preparation of all pastry dishes and baked goods • Ensure all pastries are uniform and up to standard • Source and select necessary pastry ingredients • Organize and store needed tools and materials (food or otherwise) • Manage supplies and inventory for pastry goods • Stay current and informed of useful baking trends • Adhere to all sanitation, safety, and food preparation laws • Demonstrated ability to prepare and bake Middle Eastern, North African and Arabian style specialty desserts and pastries including but not limited to Harissa, Halawet El Jibn, Knafeh, Ma’amoul, Baklava, Turkish delight, Halva, Atayef, Makroudh, Bjawia, Samsa, Kaak Warka.
